In January, Kay crocheted and sent thirty-nine tissue holders, twenty-nine bookmarks, eight small blankets, and four prayer shawls. Amazing! The prayer shawls, tissue holders, and bookmarks will be for care packages, and the blankets will complete layettes. Such beautiful work, Kay! So many blessings in this incoming package.

Thanks very much to our newest Friend of Team Tiny Treasures, Carol T., who made and gifted a whopping 42 knitted and crocheted blankets of all sizes, as well as eight cocoons and one hat! Each blanket is unique! These items will be such a blessing to families experiencing loss.
This care package is on its way to baby Aubree Skye's family. Included in this care package: a prayer shawl; angel gown with matching bonnet and booties and baby blanket; personalized journal; angel pouch; comfort bear; tissue holder; candle; and personalized diaper ornaments for Aubree and her siblings who passed on before her: Remington Joseph, August Raine, and Layla Grace. The items in this care package were made in memory of April Rose Aguilar, Robert Earl Thomson, the Hagen babies, and all babies gone too soon.
Team Tiny Treasures's Founder, Christelle Hagen, is the person who assembles the Care Packages requested by bereaved parents, or their friends or family members. In December, Christelle sewed the white angel pocket and the covers for the personalized journals used in our two December care packages. Christelle also donated one memory candle. Christelle also sewed three small blankets to complete three different layettes so they are ready if needed.
Team Tiny Treasures shipped these items to Blooma in Minneapolis, MN: eight blankets (including five sewn and three crocheted), eight hats or sets of stockinette hats (including three crocheted hats; three sets of stockinette hats, and two knitted hats), four comfort bears, three angel gowns (including two from our Brides to Babies Project), three sets of diapers, three sets of booties, two buntings, one angel pocket, one cocoon, one romper, one tunic, one tissue holder, and one diaper ornament.
These items were made in memory of April Rose Aguilar; Chad Boline; the Golob, Kunitz, and Yeo babies; Anais, Luke, and Valentina Hagen; Robert Earl Thomson, and all babies gone too soon. In November, Team Tiny Treasures Founder, Christelle Hagen, gave a mini quilt (not pictured), an angel pouch, and a personalized journal. The angel pouch and journal were to complete a care package. The mini quilt helped to finish a set so it is ready to ship, if needed.
Thank you so much to Team Tiny Treasures Member, Kay Stewart, for these beautiful prayer shawls mini afghans and blankets to fill our care packages and layettes! The colors are so beautiful! Thank you, Kay!
